Let us all take a pledge for a sustainable world

“The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it” – Robert Swan

Sustainability should not be a choice, but a necessity!  If we truly want to embrace sustainability, we have to work on it – recycle containers, take reusable bags to the grocery store, save electricity, use energy conservation products, and sometimes deal with less-than-optimal conditions to save the planet.

There’s lot happening around us right now – from global warming, ozone depletion, air and water pollution, acid rain, waste management and more – our planet’s ecosystems are deteriorating.  Did we ever think we are consuming so much and so quickly that we are already living far beyond the earth’s capacity to support us? Our globalised world is more interconnected and volatile than ever, making us all more vulnerable. So let us all take a pledge for a sustainable world; this issue has an impeccable yet effective solution.

Considering this to be the end of the year 2015, we have tried to compile the issue with some beneficial tips on how to turn conflicts into opportunities, time management and many such articles that we are sure will help you in building a new and organised you for 2016!

And yes! Let’s not forget it’s time to change the calendars and finalise your plans for the coming year. How will you approach new challenges and opportunities? And as we close out 2015, we are eternally grateful for your continued support and wish you continued success for the coming year.

Let us know your plans for 2016.  Let us know how we can help. Let us know what you want and need from TYV Magazine. Write on our Facebook Page theyoungvisionpage or you can send me an e-mail directly at editor@theyoungvision.com.
