UAE school pupils to sit all exams during Ramadan
Pupils from Grades 1 to 12 to sit end-of-term tests during Holy Month.
Thousands of pupils across the country who are enrolled in public and private schools that follow the Ministry of Education curriculum will sit their all exams during Ramadan.
A schedule released by the ministry on Tuesday showed that the first subject test – for Islamic studies – will be issued to students from Grades 1 to 12 in Group A on May 20. The last end-of-term exams will be written June 27.

Other test dates include:
May 21: earth science for Group A pupils in Grade 12
May 22: health science for Group A pupils from Grades 10 to 12
May 24: social studies for Group A pupils Grades 1 to 12
May 27-31: Final evaluation for Group B students from Grades 1 to 12
June 3-7: Arabic writing test for Group A students from Grades 1 to 12
June 10-12: English writing test for Group A students from Grades 1 to 12
June 25-27: End of term exams for Group A students
Students from Grades 4 to 12 will have an opportunity to retake exams from July 9 to 12.
Test results will be published July 15, and report cards will be issued July 16 to 19.
Ramadan is expected to begin May 17, the Sharjah Centre for Space and Astronomy predicted.
The last day of school for students is July 5, while for teachers and staff it is July 12.
The MoE has not yet issued a calendar for the next academic year.
