TiE Dubai is pleased to inform you that applications are now open to aspiring student entrepreneurs for the TiE – University Global Pitch Competition 2021. A global program aimed at fostering our future generation of entrepreneurs.

TiE-U Global Pitchfest via TiE Dubai is open to college students MENA wide to apply for a business pitch related to a new entrepreneurial venture. TiE Dubai has launched this locally in partnership with Skyline Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (SEIC) and communications partner The Young Vision.

Judges will consider these key factors while shortlisting winners;

PROBLEM DEFINITION: Clear Description, Market Identification, Customer Validation
SOLUTION: Value Proposition, Product Market Fit, Differentiation from Competition
SUCCESS VIABILITY: Operational / Executional Approach, Leadership, Teamwork, Financial Viability/Returns

If you have an idea, product or service that you are looking to launch and you meet the eligibility criteria. The winning team will compete globally for prizes upto USD 50,000/-

The pitchfest utilizes a combination of Business Model Canvas weighted at 10%, Business/Executive Summary weighted at 10% and Pitch/Q&A weighted at 80% to make decisions about winning teams.

Applications closed. Selected applications will be invited via email to pitch. Pitches and Q&A will typically run for 15 minutes per presenting team, and the recommended breakout is 8-10 minutes of pitching, followed by 5-7 minutes of Q&A by the judges.

Currently enrolled college students or graduates during the prior two calendar years are eligible to participate in this.
